OpenAI’s ChatGPT became a rage online as soon as it was launched in November last year. OpenAI Introduces ChatGPT 4 Playground
ChatGPT 4 is the latest language model developed by OpenAI. Powered by artificial intelligence, the new software is a significant update over GPT 3 as it has the capability to accept input in the form of images and videos and generate a response, a feature that was long awaited.
Additionally, the chatbot will now be able to handle up to 25,000 words at a time, a significant increase over the previous version, which handles 3000 words. OpenAI launched the new model on March 14. The company’s president and co-founder, Greg Brockman, then held a livestream on YouTube to demonstrate the model.
How to Use ChatGPT 4 Playground?
ChatGPT 4 model is currently available to ChatGPT Plus plan subscribers only. It is not available to the general public as of now. However, GPT 3 is still available as a free version for anyone who wants to converse with the chatbot. It is possible that the free version might be upgraded to GPT 4 in the future. If you wish to use ChatGPT 4 Playground, follow the below steps:
- Log into the official website of ChatGPT: chat.openai.com
- If you are subscribed to ChatGPT+, the website will directly take you to ChatGPT 4 Playground.
- If you are not a subscriber, you need to select ‘Upgrade to Plus’ from the menu on the left side.
- The platform will then show you a comparison of features in the free and premium versions. Select ‘Upgrade Plan’ to subscribe to ChatGPT+.
- After making the payment, you will get access to ChatGPT 4 Playground.
ChatGPT 4 is Being Used by Microsoft in ‘Bing With ChatGPT’
Recently, Microsoft also announced that it has utilized GPT 4 model on its Bing With ChatGPT feature, which helps with Bing’s search function. “GPT-4 can solve difficult problems with greater accuracy, thanks to its broader general knowledge and problem solving abilities,” said the official statement by OpenAI.
“GPT-4 is more creative and collaborative than ever before. It can generate, edit, and iterate with users on creative and technical writing tasks, such as composing songs, writing screenplays, or learning a user’s writing style.”
“It can accept images as inputs and generate captions, classifications, and analyses. It is capable of handling over 25,000 words of text, allowing for use cases like long form content creation, extended conversations, and document search and analysis,” the statement reads further.
